Early Stage Residential Construction

The concrete pour for this custom home build at Stone Canyon in Tucson, AZ is part of our early construction stage.  Due to the high weather temperatures here in southern AZ it takes numerous people to pour and finish the concrete quickly in order to manage the curing timeline.  This helps minimize cracking and achieve a smoother finished product.  170 cubic yards of concrete was used to complete this slab, and just like anywhere in Oro Valley, the views are spectacular.  Who wouldn’t want to live here?

Land Cost Factors for Custom Homes

There are many factors that play a role in determining the cost of land development for a new custom home.  Homeowners can rely on Calisto’s vast experience in quickly (usually same day or a few days) in determining the land development cost and how long it will take to get the land ready for building a new custom home.

Barn Doors

Barn doors are a great way to section rooms off. In this custom home in Tucson, AZ we custom made this barn door to separate a living/dining room from the kitchen/family room. This made it possible for their kids to play their Xbox while the parents watched the news. This is a great example of building a custom home in Tucson and determining what the clients needed and being able to provide solutions!
